Our Goal: To empower teachers, administrators, and parents with the tools and expertise needed to provide for the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of the children in their care.
Workshops: We offer professional development workshops to preschools, day care, and family care groups. We focus on the tools and techniques needed to implement effective
classroom instruction grounded in research-based best practices. Participants will engage in a variety of activities and discussions based on adult learning theory. All workshops are led by a Master Registered Trainer from the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System and meet the requirements for licensing. Workshops can be offered at your site and vary in length from 1.5 to 6 hours. See our page of workshop descriptions for a list of currently available topics.
Parent Seminars: We offer information sessions on a variety of topics of interest to parents of children ages 0-6. These seminars can be offered at your site and vary in length from 0.5-2 hours.
Teacher Coaching: We offer coaching services to support early childhood teachers in using existing abilities and developing new skills. Coaching can be offered on-site at your location or over the phone to address questions and issues. We can support your whole staff or one teacher.
Healthy Child Care Consultations: As a registered Texas Child Care Healthy consultant, we can assist child care owne
rs, directors, and their staff in understanding best practices to keep students and staff safe and healthy. We can assess the health and safety needs and practices in your facility and discuss best practices on how to manage and prevent injuries or infectious diseases. We can conduct environmental surveys and suggest ways to improve and assist in writing health policies for the center.
CDA Verification Visits: As a certified Professional Development Specialist with the Council for Professional Recognition, I can conduct verification visits for CDA certification visits.
Curriculum Development/Implementation Support: We can write a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on your needs and yearly schedule. If you already have a curriculum, we can help by providing training and teacher implementation support.
